I just received something on my RSS mail feed which is a product from Microsoft offering some kinda GPS system for your laptop I really don't see the point in paying for this as almost every network phone provider offer GPS on our mobile phone and for free too.

OK - granted, this product speaks to you and also has rerouteing as an extra feature, - in-case you miss a turn, but so does most GPS systems and some are even cheaper than Microsoft Streets GPS. What else can microsoft create and offer that's not already on the Internet market? It looks like they're fast running out of Ideas for new products.
