I found this fascinating link about a young girl who recently became the first and youngest teen to set-off and travel around the world on her own. Abby Sunderland got stranded in the southern Indian Ocean after the mast on her boat broke. She then sent out a distress signal which was detected. Rescuers say; Abbey communicated with them, and reported she was not hurt and she was in good health.

I personally think this is a really fascinating event! However dangerous, life should be lived to the fullest, and even if that means getting stranded in the Indian ocean...as scary as that may sound... Life is all about experiences and fun, and what a fun trip this must have been for young Abby Sunderland.
